Ideal for adventurers longing to escape the common place and homogeneity of the mainstream while communing with nature or convalescing soul in need of peaceful healing, contemplation and meditation ... writers and artists, seeking privacy, balance with relaxation and recreation, the home employed, seasonally unemployed ( i.e. teachers ), academics or just wholesome retiring seclusion.

Basic full amenity rental dwellings Descriptions:

Knotty-pine with gas log fireplaces, fully furnished and decorated with kitchens, yards,ponds, decks, screened porches, carports, sheds and averaging 150 feet apart, also including free use of other facilities, i.e., Rec Hall.

The Cottage and other Cabins include:

  • Full kitchen with mircrowave.

  • Restroom with full fixtures and shower.

  • Queen bed and fireplace.

Cabins average 150 feet apart, and because the cabins are well-spaced, privacy is not an issue at the retreat, generally speaking. The cottage is set off by itself, and offers the most privacy over all.

We will gladly email comprehensive links of the many scenic sites in the area or on the way as well as valuable information as to what to bring, etc.

I advise printing any of the information that might be of interest to you and bringing it along for reference - especially directions telling how to get here and any other useful information.

Specifically:

  • Location:

    5 miles off of Hwy 97, east of Chiloquin on Sprague River Hwy. Address: 38038 Chiloquin Ridge Road, Chiloquin, OR 97624. Directions once you've arrived in Chiloquin: Cross the railroad tracks turn left at the first cross street, travel east about 1.5 miles until you see the power station on the right; turn right before the power station on Chiloquin Ridge Road then drive approximately a little over a mile until you see the sign, "Nature Retreat" on the right.

  • Crater Lake:

    The distance to crater Lake is approximately 25 miles to the boundary and from there 10 miles to the rim.

  • Things to Do?

    Lots ! We'll gladly send links to explore the area.

  • Best Times to Come:

    Late May to early July and late September to late October.

  • Security ... Never been an issue.

  • Cabins 2 - 6 and the cottage include:

    Queen bed, fireplace, range/oven, microwave, refrigerator, kitchen wash basin, proviate restroom with shower. No TV or telephones, but wired for phones. Basic cleaning supplies may be available.

  • Generally:

    Cabins sleep 2 and the Cottage 2.

  • Unusual Structures:

    Available May through about mid-October.

    RV sites available year round.
